Salt & Cherries (MC5) - The Mash Up
Here it is.... live and in-person, our first video in...Oooooh a really loooooong time!
This summer we announced our Mash Up video contest. We asked you to submit a video of yourselves lip synching to our song "Salt & Cherries." The video could be of any quality...we just wanted you to participate and collaborate with us! Thank you so much every single one of you who took the time and submitted entries. We really had a wonderful time reviewing all the submissions and ultimately tried to include as many entries as we possibly could. Thank you thank you thank you so much.
And a huge thanks to our UK production team spearheaded by Justine Barker, Samantha and Barry. You guys did an amazing job and we are so incredibly lucky to have such talented friends.

So great to see your new material. I love the idea for this Vid. Very fitting for the tiimes were in right now. Thanks a million for the free Oh Wow download. I love it. I have never ever seen you guys perform live and it would be great if you came to Dublin on your next tour of Europe. I really hope that can heppen as I have followed your music for years and years. If not I will travel miles and miles and miles and miles.

Won't start complaining you didn't use my self-made delayed-action release debut mobile phone video doing the Tai Chi Chen 19 form to your song almost in perfection, sniff. ;(
It's probably due to the missing close-ups to prove my very concentrated lip-syncing. Will have to keep on living in the belief that the credits show MY name, too, at least ... have to admit anyway the other contributions were much more professional and original - GREAT JOB EVERYBODY! Was huge fun to have been a part of this contest.

serendipity: just played " fruit at the bottom " for the first time in about 18 years, thought I would look you up on the net, crashed right into " salt & cherries " superb song & video.
Nice to see that the flame is still burning bright after all these years.
