We've been dropping hints over the last couple months that we are working on a few cool projects. Some old music, some new music.
This particular piece comes from a remix project we've been trying to pull together with the help of some friends. King Britt is up first with a slippery, dark, under-the-covers remix of SWEET SUITE. WOW!! I love you guys so much and love this album it so beautiful, I listen to all your albums every chance i get, I wish you would come to miami and do a show, my friend Rick gave me a dvd of a show in L.A. just before he passed away, and I was so happy and I watch it every time I think of him, he was such good friend, my partner and I were just beginning to become better friends with rick before he passed, our connection of course was prince sheila E and anything to do with you.
just keep bringing the music to us, all your fans love you, but you really need to do a small tour!!!

I love the idea of a remix project. Would be nice to re-invent some of the earlier songs which while very hooky, have some, shall we say time-specific 80s production styles. This new track sounds pretty groovy indeed.
Question: How does this remix widget on this page work anyway? I wasn't able to download the track. I had to enter a friends email address, then have HIM send me the Mp3. I would have expected to be able to download the track through the widget just by clicking on it? Strange. I'm in Ie8 on Vista.

hmm. not sure what you mean. but in exchange for your email address, you then receive a verify email from us with a download link to receive the music file. but glad you sorted it yourself anyway! enjoy the remix.

...when I read about a slippery, dark, under-the-covers remix of SWEET SUITE on www.treesforbreakfast.com, I wasn't sure what to expect. Thankfully, the description is 100% ON POINT. Love the remix and definitely looking forward to seeing what's comes next from W&L's kitchen!
