Best Article EVER!
OMG- Best Birthday present ever! Y'all gotta check out this amazing interview with Wendy and Lisa at Out.Com. It was like a total Oprah aha moment for me. So much is explained, like how Trevor Horn needs to attend some sensitivity training and apparently his Rabbi is actually SATAN. OK- so I'm just giving an opinion, anyway, here's the link.

Btw- my Rabbi at Shir Tikvah Temple in Minneapolis is a lesbian. Just incase anyone reads the article and thinks that Jews believe what Trevor Horn says. Un-freakin'-believeable.

That article rocked! Ok I will admit I never knew they were gay back in the day. I just saw some girls who could jam. And they were very easy on the eyes. :):):)
I have all their music either on cassette or on cd. I need Fruit at the bottom to have everything on cd. I am in Wendy and Lisa heaven right now with the new music, twitter, facebok and their own site. I would check on them from time to time on their old site. Still easy on the eyes!

I know...and I love how Wendy said she just did now want that on her plate...you know, the whole being "out" thing back in the day. Because it would have been all about that, it just would have been and that would have made it all the more difficult for them AND us as fans. "Oh, you're into W&L, then you must be Gay." People make assumptions and there's just so much small-mindedness out there. Why should Wendy & Lisa have to carry that flag for us, there were others perfectly willing to do that and they did it well. Seriously, until about 2 years ago, I wasn't really sure if Wendy and Lisa were gay or not and I'm what you'd consider and a fan. Even if I read it in an interview, I'd think, "well, I dunno..." I think that's what they wanted. Even now, it's not my business but I am so thrilled that they are moms! Can you even imagine that?

So thrilled that they are moms, happy souls and still making awesome music together.
I kind of did think they were a couple back then just by the way they interacted with each other, but I don't know if it was the wishful thoughts of a gay teen on my part lol.
