Hi from Renate (Netherlands)
Hi everybody my name is Renate just turned 40 on the 19th august phew (sorry Renata) it's my real name :) i live in a small village (feel just like Daffyd in Litlle Britain) in the Netherlands with my girlfriend Constance,moved here 6 years ago to get away from the city.
We have 1 big hairy chlid callled Kira (Dog incase you were wondering) 4 cats (Clyde,Charlie,Stinky and Kleintje) and lots of Poison dart Frogs!!
What else is there to say been a huge fan of W&L since the first album,saw them live only once in Amsterdam (The Fruit at the bottom tour) i think it was at the Carré Theatre i can't remember exactly.
What else i like The Beatles (Got my Brother to blame fot that) The Doors,Annie Lennox,Bowie,Tina Turner and at the Moment i'm listening to Alain Clarke (He's a dutch artist) he sounds like Prince when i first heard him on the radio i thought it was Prince. (you should check it out)
I Love my Ps2 and Ds favorite games Silent Hill,RE4,Baldurs gate,Professor Layton and the Diabolic Box (downloaded it yesterday) and much more games.

WOW! Welcome to the family Renate (the IS very close to Renata)! It is great to meet a fellow fan! All the way from the Netherlands (I am from Washington DC, in the US). It sounds beautiful where you live. Funny! 'Big hairy kid'! I like that!

Thanx! Yip can't change my name can i oh well as long it doesn't confuses anyone on this forum i think i'll be oké.
It is very beautiful were i live the only thing is most of them (NOT ALL THOU) are homophobic and if you do NOT go to church then your totally S.....D! They go there every sunday 3 times a day with there little hats all wearing black.
What i do to annoy them is take extra walks with the dog on sunday pisses them off you see (they don't like dogs HAHA.
But over all we do have friends here like i said not all of them praises the Lord around here (hope I don't insult anyone here)

Hi Renate,
I see the lovely Mikki has welcomed you into our fold. Can i second that! It's so cool to see people from around the world finding their way here to share in great music and fun times online.
I'm a bit closer to you than Mikki, I live in the UK, just outside London. My partner and i escaped the city for some countryside and fresh air. We'll have to swap cat pics at some point and I'd love to see the frogs - they sound intriguing!
Lucky you getting to see the FATB tour. I was in Scotland during both tours and couldnt get down to London so have yet to see them live. Hopefully they will get back to Europe some time soon and if so I'll see you there!
I loof forward to hearing more from you on the forum. Once again, welcome !

Thanx for the welcome ah england yes that's a bit closer ( I love england!) been there a few times had lots of fun hanging around Soho Square!!
Yes i also hope W&L will be back playing in Europe soon (it's been to long)

Hi Mikki & AI,
The froggies aren't that scary mikki it's a great hobby of us (great concerts in the mornings!) we have 1 big vivarium/paludarium 160x70x100, if i got time i will make some pics and upload them most of the pics got lost had the rootkit virus about a week ago (that's what happens downloading to much!) my GF wasn't happy took her about 3 days to fix the pc.
