Despite the fact that this is honestly something I've always wanted to ask you guys, I'm afraid it's OT and unrelated to music. (Heartfelt plea to Renata to consider keeping it on.)

So anyway....

cats or dogs?

Cat person(s)? dog person(s)? equal opportunity? Favorite breeds, pets (past and present), adopted strays, did they keep you company in studio? Was there a special cat who suddenly decided that he was The Owner of the hammond and you had to play around him? (there's a John Cage experiment for you. "playing around cat") Did you have any critters who were musicians themselves? (vocal, plinking around on the piano) whatever you wish to share on the topic.

For me: Both dogs and cats are prone to outstanding weirdness, and I have a deep appreciation for both, but I find cat weirdness to be more amusing.

It's one thing to see that your cats have broken up a cardboard box while playing. It's another thing entirely when you notice the next day that it has been put back together.

True story.

BTW, my cat, Pie, is a huge fan. I would play IGABBOC to help calm her anxiety when she was a kitten. (feral rescue.) She loves it. ^_^ It's her "cozy" music.

Niku (the other one) prefers Gorillaz.

I still can't sell either of them on Missing Persons. (Philistines.)
