First off, thanx for the postcard and you're very welcome!

Now the question: What's the story (if there is any...) behind Prince's "Katrina's Paper Dolls" and "The Dance Electric"? And why didn't he release them or in the case of "The Dance Electirc" gave it away?

wow..... you know that paperdolls song?

that was a song we wrote with my sister, cole ynda. we did it to ''try out'' some gear or something. i don't know what Prince was thinking at the time. He just gave us some studio time at this place and asked us to go record something...anything... so we did that and a couple of things.... ''power fantastic'' came out of those few days...... and.... Dance Electric was one of my favs too. He gave it to Andre. Not sure why... they were very close and maybe he thought it was a good fit for Andre at the time.
