Inspiration behind Valley Vista

'Valley Vista' (from the album 'Eroica' album is one of my favourite reflective/intimate W & L songs; it has a great emotional , yet musically soothing quality to it. I was wondering how this song came about and what inspired you in making this musical gem.

valley Vista is about the actual house i grew up in..

and the name? its the street.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question, Wendy. It's kind of comforting to know how we all share these common feelings of returning back to the old parental home and re-live things through our own childhood memories blended in with our adult 'wisdom' (if there is such a thing, LOL).
