International artists who cite W+L influence...

Hey W+L,

Do you know names of international artists that cite you as one of the their influences? It would be interesting to hear...

One I know is Chara - she's Japanese and has been playing since 1991 (first SONY and then UNIVERSAL)... Some people have called her "the Bjork of Japan", but I think people say that when they don't know what to say...(and Bjork gets a lot of her ideas from Japan, right?)

Chara plays every instrument and sometimes writes for and records other artists.. She's good friends with James Iha.

The only one that comes to my mind is an Italian singer called Angela Baraldi who recorded a cover of "Waterfall" in Italian entitled "Caduta libera". I never actually listened to the whole song, because I only found a snippet online.
