AfterEllen's interview with "Nurse Jackie" creators (Wendy and Lisa mentioned)
Interview with "Nurse Jackie" creators Linda Wallem and Liz Brixius by Karman Kregloe (July 28, 2009)
AE: Can you give us any hints as to what we can expect on the season finale, or even in the second season?
LW: All I can say is that I think by the end, people are going to just say, “Oh my God!”
One of my favorite things is that we have Wendy (Melvoin) and Lisa (Coleman), who do our music. We love them and still can’t believe we have them. They’re just geniuses.
One of the most fun things was when Lizzie and I went over to their studio and we had just finished shooting and brought the last four episodes over and sat there and watched them with Wendy and Lisa. They hadn’t seen them and hadn’t scored them yet.
So we’re sitting there and Lisa’s jaw is on the floor and Wendy is saying, “Jackie! No!” It was hilarious and thrilling to see their reactions.
So I’ll just say that the last four episodes kind of blew Wendy and Lisa’s heads off, and I think they will for everyone else too. I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s great. And it sets us up beautifully for what’s going to happen in season two.

PS: I still wonder why AfterEllen hasn't interviewed the dames lately, specially when WFoWC came out...

We got a couple free CD's of our score to NJ..
I gave one to my mother and father..
It was a thrill for me . My dad flipped out and my mom called all her nurse buddies
from her alma mater MARY HITCHCOCK next door to Dartmouth..
Not there anymore...
But whatever i made my folks proud.

OMG! They only gave you a 'couple' of free CDs? That you MADE? The record distributers are fine, outstanding, compassionate givers!
I'm happy that you were able to share your work with you Mom & Dad! I'm sure it was a terrific feeling! After all of those years of listening to your Dad's work, you had the chance (again) to give him a copy of something that YOU actually did! Awesome!
So, did you autograph the CD for your Mom & Dad :) Also, since you were only given a 'couple' of free copies, let us know if you want us to Amazon some CDs to your sis, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. :D
The CD was GREAT! I truly enjoyed it! Hopefully, the both of you will get to do plenty more... like a 2nd Heroes CD!

PS: Mary Hitchcock sounds like a scary place to learn about nursing! Was Mary Hitchcock related to Alfred?
UPDATE: I was alerted that Wendy & Lisa received MORE than a 'couple' of free CDs. I stand corrected! So, I completely redact the 'cheap bastard' comment. The record distributers are fine, outstanding, compassionate givers :) On the other hand, Wendy is an under-exaggerater :)
