Agreed upon! Please somebody who attended the show must help, open your heart and please write a short review of the concert. Personal anecdotes are more than welcome ... Fans would like to be part of the virtual tour. Thank you so much in advance!
I just did...over in the thread where fans post their experiences at having met Lisa & Wendy.
And my post is lengthy, but hopefully upon having read it, you will feel as if you too were there at the Largo (with me, of course, LOL!!) on the 13th. *smile*

Quick review.
It was fabulous.
The Coronet is an old movie theatre, yet there is a stage that is elevated. It could be in someone's home, it is that intimate.
Our heroes and their sisters, and friend, played many of their older songs in very fresh ways, as the basic set-up included the five voices, Lisa on keys and guitars ("Check it out: I have to switch guitars!"), and Wendy on guitar.
BEATS/LOOPS played a large part in the performance, but there were as simple and acoustic arrangements as well.
One thing to point out: WENDY'S VOICE was UNBELIEVEABLY STRONG AND LOUD... and it was FANTASTIC!!!!
Second thing to point out: SUSANNAH'S SHAKE/SHIMMY was MESMERIZING! I'm a guy, and my boyfriend and I couldn't keep our eyes off of her!
Our girls like to have fun. Our girls like to joke, A LOT. We found out Wendy has ADD & she faked a bum leg to park in a handicapped spot, and was acting "fancy" according to Lisa: like a FANCY LESBIAN!
Lisa is a the catalyst without which nothing of beauty ever occurrs. Lisa is a NUT!
Afterwards, a large contingent of us stuck around, chatting with Cole, Libby, and Susannah, and then Wendy and Lisa arrived to hold audience and sign souvenirs. There was NO ORGANIZATION of this meeting, and no real time limit to visit with Lisa and Wendy, so it was "Friendly Chaotic." HA!
We were lucky enough to experience the musical skills of grounded women, rocker moms, bad-ass composers, and Renata. Yay!
Wow! Thanks for the review Christopher. Am absurdly jealous but pleased you had such a great night. Us UK peeps will be sure to return the favour when W & L play over here. Which will be soon? Won't it? ? ? :-)
Ugh. Set list... set list. I knew I forgot something, because I was so in AWE of the performances. And the place was dark. And we couldn't take pictures inside.
DARN IT!
Let's say they hit EVERY ALBUM. And a few of the songs were reworked so that you couldn't tell which one it was until the lyrics began.

It was an amazing set. Jonathan was one of the most moving songs I have ever heard live. Thanks ladies for making yourselves so vulnerable...yet so there for each other.
Thank you as well for staying so late and meeting all of us and not making any of us feel rushed or insignificant.
there is a lot involved actually. one of the big reasons we do a lot of this stuff is because i am super into computers and tech and willing to experiment. we do video and record all our shows. but i also handle all the business end of making music. some items just have to be tabled until later.

I remember seeing you there...and wondering where in the heck are my Wendy & Lisa albums?
I know they're lost somewhere here in this house down in the basement.
That hurt that I didn't have mine with me too.

Hmmmm not sure about the logistics of this one ... Renata you seem to be our techiegeek :)
Maybe recording audio from shows and uploading them for us to listen to or maybe even download , that would be nice ...
