The show was amazing..Sound we great with exception of Wendy's hummm every once in a while. LOL! I have to say that I really enjoyed the last 2 songs, Wendys voice was haunting on "But Not For Me". The girls where at the top of their game and I wanted it to go into overtime...Simply amazing. Oh and btw....Sus was RAWKIN the dance moves...Sexy as always! Special thanks to Renata, you are the wind beneath the girls wings for sure...

WOW! Really wish I could have been there, setlist looks incredible. Really glad 'All I Wonder' was performed... my all-time favourite W&L song.
Hopefully some clips will be on the site soon!

Ladies I am still on cloud 9 from attending the show last night. It was well worth the 25 years it took for me to see you live on stage and to have the opportunity to sit and chat with you afterwards goes beyond words. Starting the show with that version of Waterfall was worth the trip in it's self. Wish I could have heard a few more songs from first two albums but I'm not complaining. The venue is awesome and the sound (outside of that occasional buzz) was wonderful. It was also nice how informal the whole show was. Lisa was in rare form.
I really hope you liked California Moon.

The show on Saturday was fantastic - its not just the musical performance, its also the interaction with the audience and the banter between themselves that makes it special. A very honest performance. I travelled from the UK and it was worth every one of the 6000 miles travelled. I would do it again without hesitation - although to be fair maybe Wendy & Lisa might like to do the travelling next time to even up the score..............

Chris, and I thought I was the biggest UK fan. Tell me that you were going there on holiday and did not fly out for the concert only? If so, how much did that round trip cost?

Hi
I really did just go for the concert. I live in Jersey, Channel Islands, so left there on Wednesday night, stayed over at Gatwick, took the bus to Heathrow on Thusday morning, flew to LA Thursday lunchtime and arrived mid afternoon US time. Did a bit of sightseeing etc Friday and Saturday (shopping and Santa Monica beach), then went to the show on Saturday night. I flew back to London on Sunday afternoon and finally got back home to Jersey at 6pm on Monday!
The basic cost of the London LA package was not too bad - £1k and that was flying with BA and staying at the Sofitel in West Hollywood. The hotel location was perfect - 2 minute walk to the Coronet.
I upgraded on flights etc. so the cost was quite a bit more more and that basic figure does not include my Jersey/London flights and London hotel accommodation.
Seriously though the trip was well worth it. I would not hesitate to do it again!Chris S

Hi Renata
You are welcome anytime - its a real paradise island!

Chris,
I am impressed not to mention a little envious of your trip out to LA. I was lucky enough to see Wendy and Lisa in London many moons ago and have been a fan since. Renata needs to convince them both to fly out to Jersey or anywhere in the UK to promote the new album and I will be first in line to buy tickets for my clan and I.
Live long and prosper.

I, too, had an AMAZING time at the concert! I didn't travel all the way from England BUT I did travel from DC to see them and it was well worth the $! As if the great concert wasn't enough... meeting them was incredible!
If you have the opportunity to see them... PLEASE DO! You won't regret it!
I had a LOT to say about that night. Rather than copy it all here (which would needlessly hog up space), check out my memories of the June 27th concert on my blog:
