Facebook Connect

Hi ya'll -

Can you please post a quick 'how to' on linking up Facebook and Twitter accounts to W&L.com? I'm trying to do this in my profile, but am clearly missing something. Or, a few things!

Gracias!

Kat

I 3rd that!  I also cannot find where I can log into the site, hence I cannot locate account settings, which is where I suspect the "hook up" occurs.

hi guys...it appears to be very subtle. if you are currently logged in...then log out first. then go and log back in but click on the connect with facebook first. then it seems to "not work" and boots you back to the last page or something. but if you then log in and reply to a comment you'll see a new button pop up that gives you the option to publish on facebook. i'll work with our webdev on this, but it is an open source project that is still very alpha stage. it is a very cool idea tho.

yup yup. this facebook connect thing is rocking now. many more features and options popping up under edit profile once you click save after it says it detects a facebook session. so i guess the trick is to be logged into your facebook account FIRST!  as for the Twitter option here, it's a handy tool to have within your profile for others...they can check out your twitter feed within your profile if they don't twitter, or don't follow you yet!

i hope that clears it up a bit.

hi renata,

I failed at my attempt to get the facebook connect really working. After writing a comment, I was asked whether I would like to have it posted on my facebook site; but then - after pushing the "agree" button - a smaller window appeared (a re-load of this website - and then it stayed that way). The connection to my facebook-site hasn't been successfully made (no info there). What can I do to make it work? Thanx , Andreas

Twitter Question:

I am private on twitter and where it says:

NameDescriptionPrivateImportDelete

is where I am having the problem because under Private by default it says no and I don't know how to indicate that I am private.

Any suggestions on how to solve this in order for me to link my account here?

Thank you!

My twitter account is: http://twitter.com/2Serenity
