Registration problems

It seems several people have had problems creating an account on the site.  This is most likely because of your email provider thinking that the verification email is spam or junk.  There are a couple of things you can do.

  • Add info@wendyandlisa.com to your address book.  Most e-mail providers will not spam-check emails from people in your address book.
  • Check you spam or junk mail folder for the e-mail.  If you find it, great.  Tell your email provider that this should not be marked as spam.  Each email provider is different, but for instance, in gMail, you would click the "Not spam" button.

This should take care of it.  If it doesn't, don't hesitate to let us know.

This is 'mikdev'!  Thanks for the suggestions.  However, I tried the Spam folder first and I have no spam.  Yesterday, I also tried 'Resetting Password' to no avail.  It is weird because I have received mail from '@wendyandlisa.com' in the past and have marked you as 'not junk'.  Hmmmm....

My account was defintely created because I can't post anytihing using the name 'mikdev'.

Don't hesitate to let me know if there is anything else that you think I should try.

Hello Roger,

This is "tripfaller" here, having same issues as my dear fellow twitterer mikidev. I get mail fine from @wendyandlisa.com too but have not been able to complete registration. i've tried the process again but the system recognises that both my user name and email are already registered but wont let me come and play ("with you in the dark" or otherwise...)

Any tips/help would be much appreciated!

@mikdev and @tripfaller.  I just sent emails to the addresses associated with the registered accounts.  Reply to the email if you get it, or back here if you still haven't gotten it.

Hi,I've been unable to complete registration too.

I tried using SJ and it wouldn't allow me to so it has registered my user name.

I receive e-mails from info@wendyandlisa.com but have had not registration confirmation to join forum.

i've reset all the accounts that were stuck on un-verified. practically all the accounts that were "stuck" were associated with an AOL/YAHOO/COMCAST address. i think that maybe at the server they are throwing them into a spam/junk folder that some folks don't see unless they use webmail or IMAP. just a thought...otherwise, i will keep my eye on the issue.

hey dan, i've reset your account and it shows eroica29 is verified. try changing your password, and make sure the confirm emails arent in your junk/spam folder.

I looks like I am having the same problem. My messages are showing as un-verified.

Please make it easy on me computers are not my thing. But I will try so I can keep up with the girls.

Me again! My lovely husband has registered as DTTTM but hasnt received any email. We have checked Spam folder etc but nothing so perhaps we have equal luck in registering :-)

He has some wonderful video clips to upload so if need be will use my account but use TRIPFALLER_Philbackhouse if thats ok?
