UPDATE: Here it is! This is the back up of what we recorded as the livecast was happening. It's my own damned fault that the stream wasn't archived because i didn't pay attention to some big red button that said record on it... anyway... so this version is a little off to the side and lisa keeps going off camera. but it looks and sounds good, and you hear all the questions and answers.

Yes, unfair to leave the old continent out of the loop...
I have always wanted to tell how much I love you since I bought my first "wendy and lisa" copy in summer 87. My parentsleft some money for food while they were on holidays but I spent it in Paris' shop 'Fnac' to buy Prince CDs and your first record. It was worth starving.
And after my 8th copy, I am still listening to it with pleasure and tears sometimes.
I almost travelled to LA when your concert in a jazz club was scheduled couple years ago, some time in January or February...
Please try to setup the next session at a more appropriate time for your european fans and you are also very welcome for a concert. Any chance you would visit or play a couple songs in Paris, send an email and I'll be your guide.

Great to watch the Q&A - good stuff. Bu gutted that my question(s) didn't get answered - will they appear on PART TWO? I'm uncertain how to link up with this, because if it's a 'live' Q7A, how do we connect? And do the people who wrote those questions have to log on? (I'm at work!!!!)
If you only answer one question, I'd like it to be:
What would, say, something like Power Fantastic sound like if you re-recorded it today? And would you Pro-Tools it? I'm currently running Logic, and in a constant dilemma about using live instruments or MIDI stuff. Go for the best (fake) recreation of a sound / instrument you can, or pay top dollar for ace session players? (I play lots of instruments myself, but wouldn't manage a whole orchestra! ;
I work in music education (I run a school teaching 8+ year olds guitar, keys, bass and drums!)

just click the above link and it will connect you to the direct stream. it will say not broadcasting until we are....broadcasting!
this is a prince.org sponsored and promoted event, so we only answered the questions that prince.org culled for us, and are answering the rest for this live event.
we tried to do this as early in the day to accommodate as many time zones as possible, but also within our own work schedule.
we will be doing more events like this and other chats, as well as always checking the Q&A section in this forum. so you will most likely have another opportunity to catch us streaming in the future and ask your questions.

All my respect to you, Lady Renata, 'cause I know it's hard to multitask the way that you do and as efficiently as you are at it. Guys, let's be thankful for this opportunity, put the whining behind and give Renata a break ;-). BTW, I adore the new sidebar with Tweets and Links!
