GIRL BROS RADIO really! our own station!
HEY GUYS! check it out! we are so excited to be in the testing phase of our very own radio station GIRL BROS RADIO. we are actually building out the studio and getting ready to move into our own space. this will be the real deal....MusicLAB will be back, DJ Wendy shows will be back! Renata will be back doing a show of her own too. we will have guests, live events and all sorts of multimedia stuff going on. it goes without saying, we are of course going to have a live chat.
you can listen in if you'd like while we have a few playlists looping to test the stream and all the bells and whistles behind the scenes.we are already excited at how crisp and clean everything sounds. hope you feel the same. also, we have partnered with Live365 who host our live stream and also have their presence in many internet radio mobile apps. you can download the actual Live365 app for iPhone, iPad, Blackberry...and we even were able to just use our mobile browser to navigate to the page and launch the player and it worked! so we are super encouraged that you'll be able to hear the show no matter what you are listening to it on. but check out those apps! you dont have to create an account in the Live365 app to listen to Girl Bros Radio either. Just install, click the 'back' button when you get the please upgrade request, and then 'search station' for GIRL BROS....please let us know your experience while we are in this testing phase. we (ahhemmm....meaning, me, renata...) would like to hear any feedback to make for a better user experience...if i can help it!

thank you guys! we are so excited. i have the bulk of the process done. the basic connectivity, chat, web, social, etc. we are now working on the physical and building out our little space where we will sit and spin. hee hee couldnt help it ;)

Hey Renata,
I'm using Flock browser, which is build on Mozilla's engine, and uses most of the Firefox extensions, including FoxyTunes. I've used Foxy a lot, and enjoy it. However, I am not sure how the Live365 thing is connected w/ it, and how I can just pull up GB Radio. I don't see Live365 listed in the Select Player tab. Am I missing something? I'm not looking to go back to Firefox. They became way too clunky in the last few updates, and I had to dismiss them after almost 10 years of use.

Love all the extra perks ... like the ability to buy the songs we are hearing, expanded access (phone apps, etc.) being able to listen to their music picks whenever, etc.
Listening now. Looking forward to the relocated MusicLab.

I am not sure how the Live365 thing is connected w/ it, and how I can just pull up GB Radio. I don't see Live365 listed in the Select Player tab. Am I missing something? by predators

Live365 is a website with tons of custom radio stations, including Girl Brothers Radio. To get to it:
(1) In your browser, go to http://www.live365.com/
(2) In the search box on the page (the one with the magnifying glass in the upper right), enter "Girl Bros. Radio"
(3) You'll see a list of matching stations with "Girl Bros. Radio" at the top. Just click that name and you're in business.
