This is kewl!!!! My sister exposed me to Prince at an early age. Don't worry I didn't get all the innuendo's n stuff. Of course, now I listen to his stuff and think "oh boy, that's what THAT meant". That introduced me to Lisa and Wendy, two funky funky ladies!!

And I promise I'm not like one of them annoying people that will ask 10,000 questions about Prince (dang gag order ;p heehee). I admire ladies who kick arse. Your solo work is simply incredible and I've been a huge fan for many a long time.

I myself aspire to be a lady who kicks arse in a creative way. Of course an artist with a short attention span is a bit of a problem.

So finally I joined-lol, Snapshot's is SOOOOOOOOOOOO great I just had to, well rave about it a bit I guess-but thats another thread

As a musician-There are only a few folk who's stuff I look out for. Wendy & Lisa will always be on that list. Loved White Flags......in fact I've liked all their stuff from the get go-Lisa having the honour of playing one of the most moving pieces I've ever heard (Visions) and Wendy-She was one of the reasons i actually started to play guitar-(and still want a girl in my band lol)

I've  actually just got my first stuff together-kind of and am trying at the moment to get a band together. Man its hard though-were all so darned busy with bills thesedays (why'd we have to grow up;-) Anyways

Greetings and salutations, fellow Wendy & Lisa fanatics.  I finally joined up after years of following the group from the outside.  I felt that the least I can do is actually get on the forum and interact, since I just got my pit tickets for the Prince concert on the 28th and since my dream world is unlikely to morph into reality (aka Wendy, Lisa and Prince have all been secretly plotting and will do an impromptu reunion on the night I am in attendance, playing Purple Rain together so I can cry at the end like I have every time I've heard it since the 80's, thereby making my unlikely but possible death in Inglewood a happy one) I need to get my girl-fix here.  I actually stopped listening to Prince after he broke up the Revolution and lost track of Wendy and Lisa.  But then, years later, this show came on HBO and I became obsessed with the opening song.  That show (obvs) was "Carnivale".  So I checked the credits for who did it- wait...

Totally psyched that Lisa C has been nominated for an Oscar for best picture! Best of luck to ya!
